MRVPD tracks the monthly peak and average power demand from Sugarbush Resort in accordance with the MOU, and supports the MRV’s vision for sustainable and efficient energy development and usage.
MRVPD works with businesses, residents, and municipalities to reduce their energy consumption, and to identify opportunities for clean energy generation and financing. MRVPD’s efforts in the housing and transportation sectors include a focus on reducing our use of dirty fuels. MRVPD also supports member-Towns working toward the Central Vermont Regional Energy Plan and meeting the state goal of 90% renewable energy by 2050.
