MRVPD and the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) are hosting a Modern Wood Heat webinar event for Mad River Valley residents on Wednesday, December 9th at 6:00-7:00PM.

Modern wood heating takes advantage of new technology to provide a highly efficient and low-emission heating option. Locally harvested and processed wood also supports Vermont’s local forestry industry and sustainable forest management.

Vermont Department of Forest, Parks & Recreation’s Wood Heat Coordinator Emma Hanson will provide an overview of how modern wood heat can work for you, the environment and our local economy, and answer any questions you may have.
