Amy Tomasso Joins the MRVPD

The MRVPD is excited to welcome Amy Tomasso to the role of Community Planner.
Amy brings a background in placemaking, public space planning and activation, and community building to the Planning District, and she is passionate about creating thriving, accessible, and sustainable spaces for all. Her placemaking background includes working for Project for Public Spaces on projects in D.C., Boston, and California; she has also worked in recreational management for Tunxis Golf Course, the largest public course in New England, and is a certified wilderness guide.
Amy lives in Moretown and is thrilled to be working in the Mad River Valley, contributing to maintaining the spirit, character, and livability of this beautiful state, which she has been visiting since childhood.
She holds a B.A. in Urban Sustainability from Stanford University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Hollins University.
